Ingerlund

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo !
based solely on the squad, if we had a hard working winger in the squad, I'd pick them but, it's such an unbalanced team that there's little choice. I'm unsure that I'd actually play him though as I hate hate hate watching him play for england

I'm going to guess Roy starts with:

Hart
Back four (we haven't used a back three have we?)
Dier Wheelchair
Milner Rooney Sterling
Kane
I think Dier will get the nod because he can drop into defence when a full back gets forward. Then shoehorn his favourites in.
I don't think you have what it takes to be England manager.

You've blatantly disregarded the rules of putting every Liverpool player in the squad on the pitch then filling the gaps with Arsenal and Utd players. Then you bring on a couple of Spurs players for the last 10 when the match is already won or lost.

I don't dislike Milner, although I feel he has become a big more thuggish since going to Liverwhinge.

I recall him playing on the wing (his England debut ?) and he mucked up ... REALLY mucked up the first 5 or 6 moves, after which no-one would pass to him for the rest of the half. At the end of the game the commentariat decided he had been England's best player.

As for no wingers, well there's Andros. He has delivered for Woy, albeit in cameo subs, and has become less predictable at Sunderland.

You're probably right, but I would protect our CBs as they are our weak link. Maybe sit Milner, Dier and Henderson in front of the back four, and play a front three of Vardy, Alli and Kane to hit on the break. Width from Clyne/Walker and Rose.

Sunderland? I suppose the least predictable thing to do for Sunderland is turn up in a Saudi Sportswashing Machine shirt!

Tried doing one of those.

After feeling thoroughly fed up at not being able to pick two half-decent CBs I then got stuck trying to find anyone to put next to Dier who isn't dogbrick.

Anyway - Walker/Rose at full back, Dier in the middle, Sturridge/Alli/Sterling behind Kane. The rest is much of a muchness (yes, that is an insulting term).

I just don't trust Sterling. Be interesting to know what City fans think of him.

Its all opinion.

Big on perspiration, short on inspiration - but maybe that's better than trying to fit square pegs into round holes. Plus, it is inevitable that Wheelchair gets his quarterly season-ending injury about five minutes into the first game and thus is free to spend his summer spitting at cabbies or beating women or whatever it is he does, so it would be even more pedestrian if Milner's stuck in there. But, again, maybe it's what England need - you can be damn sure that no one's outrunning that side, whatever its tehnical limitations outside Kane and Alli (and Wheelchair, but, as mentioned...he has other hobbies to attend to).
