The CF situation is not just laying at our doorstep. When two of the top European teams are both desperate for a CF you know there is slim pickings all around. If we'd kept Lankshear till now we could probably have tripled his transfer fee!

Ndiaye scored 9 PL goals in 33 appearances in 24/25 when played off the left - last season he was played off the right to accommodate Grealish.

So an argument that he could have provided goals
