Absolutely.... If we brought him in then I'd be happy for also to sign Ings and then call it a day for our striking options. The only issue with Berbatov is that we won't get the same work rate from our number 9 compared to what Kane gives us. Therefore I don't think we could have both Berbatov and Chadli on the pitch together (unless we were on top and seriously chasing a game). However Berbatov up top with (say) Ayew, Eriksen/Kane, Lamela behind him could work very well indeed.Berbatov has just been released by Monaco. Would anyone take him on a one-year deal as a 2nd/3rd choice and to help develop Kane?

under Poch we cannot have Berbatov............cant work, wont work
Much as I loved berbatov, his strops and sulks are the last thing we need in a young team imo.

Poch signed Osvaldo (I know they were old mates)
When you put it like that I'd have Berbs every time.Yes, I would rather have him then Lambert that's for sure.
bit of a myth the lazy tag with Berbatov imv - just had that look about him.
sure he was no workhorse but wasn't lazy by any means

Didn't seem very mature at Fulham tbh. Their fans were glad to be rid. As I said loved the guy when he was here but I don't think we should go back, pretty certain Levy would feel the same way too. He's 7 years more mature now than when he left.
Anyone at the King testimonial will testify to how his chemistry with the crowd was repaired/renewed.

Yep, remember a game against Bolton when we were down to ten men and he put in an exemplary performance up front alone and won us the game.
