Did you hear what they said on SSN? They don't want to upset Ronaldo's ego by making Bale the highest transfer fee ever. Well tough ****ing ****. Pay up or he's staying.

The whole thing has been presented as though Madrid are simply entitled to sign him because they want to.

exactly, even the barca boss was chipping off the other day, i got the impression he thought we should drop the price because spain was in a hole, in they knew the value of things in the first place their economy wouldn't be in the toilet, this is all also after they spent 60m on Neymar, at least Madrid can ask the king for a loan
