Ade is a 'victim' of a manager who has decided to try and build a side for years (and a system which last beyond his tenure) as opposed to a short-termist who is only interested in their own immediate gain. This is NOT the fault of the player, it is circumstance versus a real manager/coach REALLY doing their job with pride. Sherwood got Ade working again and it wasn't difficult; he made him 'the man' and I think when you do that with Ade, he delivers. The problem is, Ade is a 1 in 3 player (generally speaking) and you could never be sure how long he was going to stay/be a non-disruptive presence. Again, not a knock on him, it iOS his personality. I happen to believe he is actually a great bloke, but he is character. And he is in his late 20s, not getting any younger. Poch has firmly invested himself in youth/developing and bringing through youth. I think Kane's emergence saw him become the man, and obviously Ade was not best happy. You wouldn't want him to be! But whereas before he ran the dressing room with a few others, now Poch and his youngsters do. It isn't personal. It's simply 'work hard, work my way or it's best you head off because you won't be a regular here'...
Sherwood once again showed his are with all that Kane stuff a couple of days ago. He absolutely contributed to his career (churlish to say he didn't) but then he goes and explains how getting the best out of Ade means making him 'the man' and suggesting Poch might want to do that. Poch doesn't. Nothing personal. And Ade? He will/should go somewhere that he can have a great impact in a short amount of time and be 'the man'...I genuinely believe the MLS/Red Bulls would be a tremendous move for him. Again, until he is no longer our player, he has my support every time he wears our shirt.
