Ah yes, got confused having checked it was that the PL clubs themselves are against state ownership and asked the PL to block it but there are no PL rules preventing it.

Second paragraph- i am aware of the rules but my point is they're not strong enough

Yeah, hopefully it's proof of his exemplary character and not evidence that the ITKs are blowing hot air and Eze couldn't give 2 figs about moving to us.

As we've seen with Bale and Kane that when a star player desperately wants to move their hard working ethos can quickly go arwy!

Its more about if the deal is close the clubs agree for the player not to play due to the financial/legal risk to both sides of the transfer if he is injured although this is always weighed and spurs may decide they'd rather he plays for fitness and match sharpness....

...but there's always an implication for me in terms of deal progress when you see a target still fully involved with their clubs plans
 
Ah, but he can't overcome the malign Chelsea influence over the game's authorities. Too scared or incompetent to stop their financial finagling but strain to give decisions their way on the pitch
