Eberechi Eze

If you’re thinking of MGW, that was different TBF. Poor info plus a player essentially ‘convinced’ to u-turn. Parrish and Levy get on, so I am sure they will/have get it/got it done…

I never learn, but this feels different!!!
Was mostly a joke and partly about tons of situations, not the MGW one in particular.

Feels promising for sure.
I started a thread two weeks ago about ‘marquee’ players…he is Tottenham in his grace and style…
Agreed. His name fits in that thread title. As will perhaps Kudus, and imo give it a year Savinho should we get him.

I think the difference for me is when I see the "agreed personal terms" articles start appearing. We know players can agree personal terms with multiple clubs but at least we know they are willing to move in your direction. I always used to think of personal terms as the last step but I believe most deals have that stage earlier than the 2 clubs agreeing their terms nowadays.

It feels like Spurs are much closer on Eze than Savinho at this point for this reason.

I can’t see Savinho happening before next weekend, given we play City. If done, it will be after then.

I think you talk about one of the 3 important moving parts in this equation. The second is his injury.

As I put on the Sav thread, the third is about the sheer number of deals that City are working on. There is the goalkeeping situation, and it may be that if Rico Lewis generates a homegrown transfer fee from Forest then they balance the books. I don't see an equation where Rodrygo joins and Sav stays but I can't even be sure City are in for the RM player. One thing is for certain, City will manage all their own variables before anything happens.

Shame in a way, as Rico Lewis in our squad would give it even more balance.

Shame Audrey Hepburn pegged out she had grace and style in abundance.

...this could be the start of a long and off-topic conversation where we celebrate the likes of Sophia Loren, Jayne Mansfield, and so on :)...

...I think what makes Eze so right for our shirt (aside from his rare talent) is the way he glides around the pitch, almost floating an inch off the turf with the ball...

Easy to say as its not our money. But just pay what Palace are asking of valuations are only 2 or 3 million apart, no faffing around, get it done and dusted

I just think if something is too good to be true it ain’t happening. But I’ll be honest, Steff, the sheer force of your positivity has won me over. So fudge it, I’m a believer!! No doubt in my mind!!

It’s happening!!!

At this stage, if the player wants to come and Arsenal are lurking, if it's a few millions just get it done.

Always fancied Diana Rigg and Kim Novak plus Margaret Rutherford of course.
