Or you can allegedly rush back players like he did our CBs and then get a load crying about it. You can't win as a football manager, armchair managers remain undefeated though....

I actually think his greater pace at getting up and down might be more suited to being he right-back behind a Johnson, but i take your point. He has more pace and often seemingly more strength than Porro, but i think Porro might be more battle hardened vs the better sides. I hope Udogie isn't crocked and he can get a rotated run on the right hand-side as he way less effective going forwards on the left

Watching on the TV from home I noticed a moment sometime first half where Spence managed to win the ball without conceding a corner.
Our fans just behind that goal were chanting ‘Yido!’
He seemed to acknowledge it and looked proper made up about it as well.
I think it was such a lovely moment of connection between him and the supporters.
Like you might have been a way for a while but your still one of us.
I think that was when he outmuscled Walker-Peters. All the flaws in his (KWP) game were certainly on display yesterday.

On Conte’s part it is criminal to have a very highly rated and successful young player join for £20m and never start him in a single fixture.
Have no clue whether it was his singing, a Paratici singing or Levy. But either way given his performances for Forrest and the buzz around him you’d think Conte would feel obligated to start him once.
Massively disrespectful to both Spence and the recruitment staff to let him rot without a look in.

I think you would be surprised how knowledgable some online posters are on their clubs. They watch every game, every presser, every tactical change, track every injury and build this amazing holistic view in their heads. They obviously don't get to see the "inside club" bit, but they absolutely get exposed to this multi-year view of their club.
Even if you take Ange, he's only been immersed deeply for 18 months. He wouldn't have the same detailed memories of watching the current players like the posters have over the 3-5 year period.
I'm sensing that the AI machine will soon be web crawling and bringing a ton of intelligence back to the top clubs from the web. They will be tapping into the collective intelligence of their fans and figuring out the valuable noise from the non-valuable noise.
Unless they are working around our training ground they aren't knowledgeable about anything to do with players of our club.
As for your point about AI, I shudder at the thought - we are already doing well at making football less and less authentic, we might aswell just be done with footballers and go straight to putting out robots on the pitch....
