Danny Rose

I would like to see him try his right foot more, especially when he has has cut in from the wing. Use the ball into space.

"Danny Rose is not a noted Premier League marksman for Tottenham Hotspur but when he does score, he tends to make them count. There was the firecracker against Arsenal back in 2010 and important goals in further derbies against Chelsea and West Ham United. But he may just have topped the lot….

After the substitute Nacer Chadli had produced the equalizer...Rose took the Tottenham support to dreamland with his sixth Premier League goal in their colours. Christian Eriksen’s corner was headed out but only as far as Rose, who took an assured touch before threading a low shot through the crowded area and underneath Fabianski.

Mauricio Pochettino said afterwards he had made it a priority to keep Rose at the club when he took over in the summer of 2014 and there had been the strong suggestion the left-back would look to leave. “The first meeting I had with any Tottenham player was with him,” Pochettino said. His powers of persuasion have yielded a rich dividend."

I thought yesterday was his best game of the season so far. And there's still room for improvement. You can stick Luke Shaw, Baines and Clichy. I would much rather have our Davies and Rose combo...

I stated on here quite a long while ago that I thought he would become England's first choice left back. He has lots of natural talent, good physical abilities and also seems to have that real will to win that successful teams need from their players.

he's far too good to play for England

Facebook says he's out for four weeks. Calf injury. No source, hopefully bullcrap.
head coach Mauricio Pochettino is optimistic Danny Rose will be available.

Rose was substituted shortly after Alexis Sanchez scored Arsenal’s equaliser in Saturday’s 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane, complaining of a calf injury.

But it is understood the problem is not serious and the left-back could even be ready for the first leg of the last-16 tie with Dortmund on Thursday — although Ben Davies would expect to start that game regardless.

1/2 BREAKING: England squad to face Germany & Netherlands: Butland, Forster, Hart, Bertrand, Cahill, Clyne, Jagielka, Rose, Smalling, Stones

To be fair i dont give a brick about England, i dont watch it largely speaking id rather our players werent called up so there was no chance of injury.

But for Danny Rose i will make a massive exception cos he really thoroughly deserves it.

Is it 5-a-side?
