Agreed, and in all seriousness, banter between teams/nations is one thing since they're all at least on the same stage. This clown, on the other hand, deserves the animosity of all.

The majority of argentinians are colonials. Don't see them giving back their land.

Edit - the falklanders are mainly descended from the people that settled there. The islands were uninhabited before they got there and the brits only kicked out the militia when they retook them (largely in part because the were pirating). This was before argentina was even a country. So no idea what claim they actually have.

Obviously Argentina has it's own history that's far from rosy.

I won't go further into this if it's impossible to see how this is an issue from the Argentinian side.

So people are frankly getting their knickers in a twist over a song that wasn't even solely about the English and included a line about how they won't forget the war....the horror

Thanks. Our biggest issue in terms of suspensions will be when Bentancur inevitably gets to 10 yellows and misses two games

Of our 5, he is the only one who is comfortable when being pressed. That is one of our main issues. We need more defenders who can play like midfielders. Romero has that ability on the ball, where he never looks short of time. Doesn't dally and is good with the ball at his feet. Dier and Royal are always thinking what to do with the ball when playing out. Whereas Romero just plays on instinct. We need another with his quick feet in the back line.

Hasn't looked fully back to his best since before the World Cup. Timing of the tackles, decision making when to be aggressive. He did these things before as well, but seems to get those wrong more frequently now. Playing an hour on a yellow against City will always be a big ask.

But, he's getting there I think. Real signs of his best self every game. Hopefully we'll manage without him for a game and he uses this as a learning experience.

Far too much made of this side of his game than the reality. Before today he was on 4 yellows, way down the PL standard and ironically far from the worse at Spurs, but he carries this chopper Harris reputation that people can't wait to jump on when he throws in the odd bad tackle, which he does, but its nowhere near as frequent as made out

He is a class defender, being crude in the odd game here and there, which also goes along way to shackle a threat (Haaland anyone) doesn't change that

Yep, it's actually why I had no issue with the first yellow.

Haaland's a fudging unit, in two games with us, he know he isn't bullying anyone, and he didn't enjoy today.

Btw. did anyone else notice we went man marking today instead of zonal?
