Antonio Conte - officially NOT the coach of THFC

Whatever happened about the Conte end there will be those who want to push their agendas to the max. There is a situation which could explain it which i have ( yet) to see mentioned. He is a human being who lost several friends in a short period of time, had to have emergency treatment in hospital which HAD to affect his thoughts and patience. Now i am not saying that is a good or bad reasons but as of yet i have not read or heard that anywhere.

I am sure that most of us ( lets say i hope most of us) would have struggled with those events and add the state of play and the pressure on him as the manager from fans may I SAY MAY HAVE lead him to do what he did.

Indeed, Steff is a fan who usually can see the bigger picture unlike some who as i say usually have a dislike of certain players,managers, owners etc and tend to allow that to infuence them. Conte has been through the mill over the last six months and IF most on here had to manage those type of things they would probably struggle to cope.

Before anyone starts froathing at the mouth i am only putting this forward to suggest they may have effected his actions.

It was published in media earlier this week, several outlets carried it

- Levy ‘did not want him to leave when he did’ and ‘while knowing Conte had no long-term future at the club — he wanted the fiery Italian to stay for the rest of the season’. The manager ‘refused to return from Italy’ so Levy’s ‘wishes’ were turned down.

Of course some will see it as a PR statement, or remain convinced we could have forced Conte to stay.

No, no .. don't forget, Levy has tied them down to the extra special one way NDA that allows Spurs to say anything about ex managers but they can't respond otherwise our hit squad turns up for them and their family.
