Maybe he can invoice the club for more money for doing things he doesn't think are his job?
Haha, maybe we can set up a swear jar but for anytime he breaks a smile, would be a fcuking small jar

That was my reaction when I read it too. Starting to blame others publicly shows the wheels are coming off. He knew the squad/transfer situation when he joined.
No other clubs put the DoF or club doctors up for regular interviews. Really stupid comments
I hope Levy resists the urge for another Mourinho/Conte style appointment next
We’ve all seen this film before. We’re truly into endgame territory now.
If you actually read the quotes it's not really anything to worry about (shock horror)
But everyone knows how it works, the Press will now ramp it up, the BBC has lead with that headline tomorrow it will be in every sports pages and it will snowball, thats how the hooks get in and guaranteed the next press conference they will double down and he will look twice as p1ssed off
How is "Conte not doing good enough and players needing replacing are not mutually exclusive events" papering over cracks???
Come on, you're saying that he can't do any better after going 2-0 down in what 10 of last 13 games, 1 first half goal in 15 games. Yes the squad needs upgrading but it's not as bad as that. He should be able to come up with some tactics and organise the team to combat those things.
The point is it doesn't have to work that way. It doesn't in italy. I'd prefer to hear more from levy, paratici and the medical team.
You think the press are going to run with that POV in the coming days?
I see it now "Conte sets out outstanding vision for future of PL press junkets"
The real point is that regardless of what Conte, you or I believe is the way forward that they will now use this as a stick to beat him and the club with. Fun times ahead here
Couldn’t give a fcuk what the press do. Ultimately it’s the fans who get a manager sacked. You think the press are going to run with that POV in the coming days?

Ok, seems you aren't reading what I'm writing. So:Come on, you're saying that he can't do any better after going 2-0 down in what 10 of last 13 games, 1 first half goal in 15 games. I don't care what the press runs with. In interviews i ignore the headlines and read what question was asked and read the answer. The press are brick stirrers, it's why levy doesn't talk to them anymore.
Just saw the quotes. Not explosive but clearly a deflection tactic and really ill advised. He never made these noises when we were winning games.
The end is nigh. If he’s still here in a month, I’ll be surprised.
He wouldn't have been getting those sorts of questions when we were winning games
Naive to believe they don't control the narrative around the club and ramp up the pressures that eventually see managers sacked.
That's the point. He's getting criticism now and thinks the club should be explaining.
When he was getting praise, he wasn't saying "well someone from the club should be out here taking the credit too."
So when things are good, Conte is responsible. When they aren't, someone else should take the blame.
There's no physio can explain why we haven't taken a first half lead since September or why we've conceded at least two in how many games in a row?
That's mainly on the manager.
Only works if fans buy into the narrative and don't think for themselves.
