But as Deano said, it would be exactly the same if you supported Real Madrid or Bristol Rovers or any other team on the planet. I just resent this attitude that people have that Spurs fans are all entitled and spoilt and just because they voice their disapproval at the ownership after 20+ years in charge like we should all be grateful even when they do a poor job of running the club from a football standpoint.

And I will go further about the manager and say that had we been 5th or 6th and lost three in a row and fans were getting jumpy, ok, call it OTT, call it "fans are not built for change" but lets not pretend that Ange is anything less than a car crash now........we can see that, well most can. What are we suppose to do, stay quiet because some might wanna label it all?

His explanation doesn't make sense on several fronts:

1. In his almost 2 years here I can't ever remember him geeing up the fans. If anything, he's always been the complete opposite on the sideline.
2. To gee up the fans, managers and players usually fist pump or something. I don't think I can remember anyone doing it with a cupped ear.
3. His wave to the fans also suggests it was very much a "hey, you lot, over here. I was right, you were wrong".

That he didn't go to the fans at full time also indicates there was a problem. At least Maddison, knowing he'd take a lot of brick, went across because he knows this is part of the game and you have to properly acknowledge fans.

He's gone down a bit in my estimation as a man for what it's worth.

Wasn't anything different to how he's been in the past though Deano. Reckon someone in the club has had a word with him not to approach fans. Mostly for his own safety and that of stewards and players.

Unusually for me I saw the pre and post match stuff on Sky, ex Chelsea player (cahil?) said spurs was their biggest game (find that incredible tbh) the whole club are pumped up to beat us, colwill after the game went on about how much it meant to beat spurs, little about how this game was important for CL.
We don't have that, not had for so long I can barely remember it.

He clearly didn’t want to be on the pitch either.

I'm far from being anti ange, signing maddison was a bit of a red flag for me, making him part of the leadership group a big red flag, making the leadership group son, Romero and Maddison was a huge red flag.

If you don't want to be associated with fans like the ones singing last night or people like me then that would suggest you don't want to be associated with Tottenham Hotspur because by supporting the club you're associated with us. To take the point a step further, every club has fans like that so you'll struggle to find any club who wouldn't have fans reacting the same way in the same situation. That's football. Has been for as long as I've been following it.

And I'd just like to clarify, as a fan, I don't agree with the chanting but I accept it's part and parcel of professional football. I expect players and managers to deal with it better.
