Enough to limp on till the weekend, or we all seen enough?
We won? Who do you want to bring in now with the depleted squad we have now oh wise one? January ain't a good time to do wholesale changes, especially since we don't have Paratici anymore. I must admit tho, signing Kinsky looks really good, new kid Yang has yet to start

Any of Iraola, Mckenna or Inzaghi.

Paratici is still heavily involved, he's just paid as a consultant rather than employee.

Players are still giving everything they have for each other, for the team and seemingly for Ange.

How many times have we been unhappy about mentality/attitude over the years.

We're in 15th in the league, flirting with relegation territory, as a club with top 4 aspirations. Have we ever fallen this short of expectations half way through a season?

We've seen what from the outside has looked like players downing tools in much better situations, under way more accomplished managers. Yet seemingly under Ange they just keep going. 3-0 down to Everton too, they never gave up.

Isn't this the kind of mentality we want to see instilled?

I want to see more of what Ange can do with this team when half of it isn't injured.

Has to be enough to limp on and I'm one of the ones who want him gone.

To win away in Europe with pretty much nothing on the bench is a decent effort. I know Hoffenheim are struggling themselves but it would be mad to hold on to him after Everton and then fire him now.

Win Sunday, he'll probably have breathing space to the Villa FA Cup game.

Well said, this is the #1 reason I’ve not given up on Ange - because the players clearly haven’t.

Paratici is now a levy scout
That’s how I understand it
Unbelievable. I mean, I LIKE Paratici despite myself, but this cannot do much for Lange. Ex-DoF bow acting as a scout for the chairman? Ridiculous (but get that dirty little black book out mate!)...

IF Paratici is still heavily involved, doesn't that somewhat neuter Lange? What a clusterfudge.

Different roles. Lange is the data guy who focuses on the unknown 18-20 YOs like Bergvall and Kinsky.

While Paratici is the smoozy big deal maker with the black book of contacts for getting in the bigger name established players.

In theory it should be wholly complementary and give us the best of both worlds

Tell me how that works with the project we have going, wherby we are predominantly only going to invest in the finest young talents? FWIW neither of the players you mention were unknown in international youth football. But again, your theory is actually exactly that. A theory. I don't think it's a sound one more than smacks of Levy making sure he has a guy around he trusts.

Club have to manage this situation very carefully. If it's a choice between Ange and Mason then the former doesn't seem much worse than the latter. I think we are out of options and that makes the situation quite dangerous. Ange until the summer is fine as long as he doesn't realise he is for the chop and down tools. I really don't want to see him in the dugout next season, I can't remember a team having two seasons of relentless injuries like this and his Duplo system doesn't fit the league.

We still signed Solanke last summer and went for Muani this window. That's more Paratici's level of deals. So Lange is doing the quantity, with Paratici adding the sprinkles on top.

As long as both understand their briefs and have separate budgets, and obviously communicate, it should work well.

We can't know what's going on behind the scenes, but I seriously doubt it.

Paratici is still serving his ban IIRC, will probably want to get back to being the main man somewhere at some point. The responsibility must be with the people actually in charge.

What has been reported is that he has an advisory role. That makes sense to me.
