Is it at all possible that he is trying not to break the only senior CF we actually have fit for the forseeable future and is asking our captain to step the fudge up? And let's call it - once again, said skipper failed. Two great chances -one he should'ver fudging buried BTW. Is that on Postecoglu? Look, I get it...everyone thinks he needs to go now, but seriously mate...
No mate
It’s him sticking with the guys who are letting him down
Again…
Honesty if it was Werner or Johnson missing their you know what would be said
Ange is playing him, so t’s on him
Today was Ange changing his whole philosophy which so why imo he has lost it now and has to go. As soon as you do that after mandating your principles like he has, your done

Not a huge amount of substance or insight. Just the obvious but he was less cantankerous and confrontational.

Maddison at the moment looks a broken man.
Id say Ange is a broken man. Just read what he said and it's pathetic.

He hasnt the balls to say we were appalling and kept giving the ball away. Again the same old interview where he is blaming injuries and it's so boring...mate

Do something about it, you have a squad use it.

5 points in 8 games, and we just lost lost against a poor Everton side. Can anyone really tell me the players we had out there today aren't better than theirs? We lost because of stupid naive tactics. Surely anyone can see this manager isn't up to it

When you know a fish cannot climb a tree and you keep asking it too....do you blame the fish?

So is asking this specific breed of fish -the goalscoring fish- to finish two routine (for him) chances acxtually asking him to climb a tree, or score a goal? I think you'll find it is the latter. Which has never been asking him to climb a tree.

I'm not trying to speak on the behalf of anyone or target anyone specific here - but it seems to me like if you have invested a lot of opinions in wanting to keep him here, it will be so much harder to let those opinions go. Same with politics or anything else really. If you clutch to your opinions as if your life depended on it, you won't be swayed even if all the evidence for the contrary is staring you in the face.

It's why myself and other are not convinced once we have a fully fit team again (unlikely lol) it's not going to get that much better than midtable

Yup, this was the league table after 9 games at which point our first choice back 4 were playing and we had entire squad (barring Spence who was out of favour anyway) at the gaffer’s disposal.

Of course it must be pointed out that whilst we were only in 8th place on points the more important thing is that we had the 3rd best goal difference 😅

Re-watching old episodes of Home & Away, mate

Haha, that made me actually chuckle. Can see him sitting there eating doritos with crumbs on his belly commenting on what Sean or April is doing (or whatever they are called).

Sorry, Ange, if you happen to read GG, nothing personal, but that was rather amusing.

That is worthy of questions.
In the case of Son, I think it's sadly too easy for us to say 'drop him' when the truth today is that both Moore and Richarlison are still making their way back to full health and any over-playing could be fatal. It's a shame he has to play him, of that I agree.

When said fish can no longer take the chances he use to take, and his legs just seen to have gone. Then yeh I would stop asking or at least stop playing him for the entire game.

At this point I would play Lanks....desperate times call for desperate measures. We know werner cannot finish...we know the limits of BJ and yet we keep seeing them

The reason I’ve backed Ange has been because he had a philosophy that I could see and back. It was unconditional

Today he changed it to a mess. A shambles of a line up. Was it a back 3 or 4
Did we have an attack or midfoeld

I’ve done a lot of change management work. It’s what I’m good at. I’ve also selected the containers I work with based on their vision and strategy that they want to change. They need inspirational leaders who are staunch in the way they operate and what they company will do.

When I was at Tesco we had Terry Leahy. He had a way of talking to a room but you thought he was talking to you

When he left the new CEO Philip Clark came in and he was bland, boring and as inspirational as cement. People left in their droves and went to Tesco rivals because ten coming had no vision or direction even if the new guy was clearly smart

I’ve recent left a huge company after 3 years. When i joined the CEO was new in but with a point to prove (he had been turns down for a top job at a bank because of his age). He said the right things every time. He left 18 months in to take over an even bigger company and the old CFO got promoted. The instant plan was cost cut but still name it after the previous “strategy”. They culled a load of senior guys 3 months into the new structure. The company quickly because a rudderless ship. Still is now. There is no vision and a lot of finger pointing.

If you have a vision and stuck with it, it may not work but people can see where they’re going. The journey. Poch did it with the fire walk to show people anything’s possible.

Ange today sacked his vision off and failed miserably.

Give up on Poch. One, he won't come back here while certain people remain at the club, and secondly, half the fan base will turn on him if he doesn't get us into the top 4 and a CL Final again in his first season back. We don't deserve him back!
Fire Cullen alongside Ange. Easy.

Then finish the unfinished business of winning the EPL or CL with.
