Still in the 'In' camp but would review in the summer and most likely let him go then when we can assess things properly and likely to have a better chance of getting in a decent manager. I'd like to see what he does with the players returning but deep down I'm pretty sure it's over - too many odd decisions and unwillingness to change what's obvious to pretty much everyone.

Ange has brought this on himself really, it only needed a few tweaks to make us a little more compact and less gung ho and I think our results would improve.

Would love Iraloa, think he'd do well here and plays the sort of style we'd like.

When said fish can no longer take the chances he use to take, and his legs just seen to have gone. Then yeh I would stop asking or at least stop playing him for the entire game.

At this point I would play Lanks....desperate times call for desperate measures. We know werner cannot finish...we know the limits of BJ and yet we keep seeing them

OK, why do you think he hasn't plkayed Lankshear? I don't disagree as I love the cut of his jib, but here's the thing. I don't see him often. Or in training. Or any of it. So are people assuming that Ange is not playing him on purpose, that the answer is in front of him and he's being stubborn/hates us? Or could it be that he and his staff are seeing something we aren't? I don't know the answer.

As for your fish, when the only other goalscoring/attacking fish are still making their way back to full ocean fitness, I don't believe there was another option today (sadly it must be said)...

Is it at all possible that he is trying not to break the only senior CF we actually have fit for the forseeable future and is asking our captain to step the fudge up? And let's call it - once again, said skipper failed. Two great chances -one he should'ver fudging buried BTW. Is that on Postecoglu? Look, I get it...everyone thinks he needs to go now, but seriously mate...
Son hasn't stepped up in over a year and been mostly woeful since Ange came in. How many times does he have to see Son fail to step up before he accepts he's finished and use someone else?

That is worthy of questions.
In the case of Son, I think it's sadly too easy for us to say 'drop him' when the truth today is that both Moore and Richarlison are still making their way back to full health and any over-playing could be fatal. It's a shame he has to play him, of that I agree.
Start the lads who are working their way back and give them 50/60 mins
Son’s misses aren’t because of his fitness. It’s because he has mentally lost it. He has lost what made him elite. The willingness to shoot and shape a shot. He is hitting the ball now weaker than my 8 year old. He is meme of himself and he should be taken out if the firing line
But instead we get that it’s Sonny and remembered what he did last year… he scored 16 goals. But as I’ve said, against Leo blocks he goes missing. Him and Maddison play hide and seek

Ange doesn’t trust him, that’s clear IMO
Said last season that his misuse of the kids will get him sacked. But I thought it would be next season

I understand why he isn't. We cannot afford the risk of breakdown. Those first 50/60 mins are the highest energy. I think providing Richarlison can stay fit this week, we'll see him starting over Sonny.

The hide and seek is a massive, massive issue. Maddison only showed up for the last 30 mins, albeit the system in the first-half seemed to trouble him. I really need to give up expecting anything from him TBH.

I have no idea why Ange does anything. We may have players he don't like. But when all the squad has gone down injured. And we don't have Spence in Europe....why in GHod's name has Porro started against Tamworth and every game.
Why not Reg today and Spence RB and he plays Thurs?

3 nil down and Mikey comes in 73min, I know people are coming back but man alive...Ange does not help himself at all.

We are in dire straits and the little things he can do...he wont.

Ange will be gone in summer for Iraola

Today we had no energy in those 60 minutes
The opposite of what you would expect

I am at a point in my life where I am trying to keep my assumptions minimal. I would love to get a more comprehensive breakdown on those questions you pose, but we won't of course. So the only assumption I am prepared to make is that the manager is not purposely trying to fudge us, thus there have to be legitimate reasons. Again, who knows...

I'm not trying to speak on the behalf of anyone or target anyone specific here - but it seems to me like if you have invested a lot of opinions in wanting to keep him here, it will be so much harder to let those opinions go. Same with politics or anything else really. If you clutch to your opinions as if your life depended on it, you won't be swayed even if all the evidence for the contrary is staring you in the face.

That’s a fair point.

Two things I need to reconcile are:

We average 1.8 points a game when Romero and VDV start (obvs he needs to do better when they aren’t available).

When we had a fairly fit squad we were one win from going 3rd.

Some clear misdemeanours:

The leadership group is wrong.

Hardly adapted the system at all to the injuries.

Under/Over use of certain players.

My opinion is; with the players back he would go well, maybe really well with another summer window.

But….I’m starting to wonder if that’s unrealistic and therefore he’ll never succeed.

Oh well….at least Ipswich are losing.

He has (had to I know but still has)n trusted Gray and Bergvall regularly. Moore has jumped from 18s to senior without even a stint in the 21s, so he obviously trusts him. The Will question would be fascinating to hear an answer to...

Ange chose the leadership group mate. That's the problem.
