No other big clubs in prem looking to change managers atm
I don’t think he’d jump ship before the end of the season even if we waved a chequebook in front of him. I know others here think differently. Yes his stock is high at this moment but will it decrease by much over the rest of the season? I doubt it. And by then there might be better options open to him.

I read they had 9 players out v Chelsea - dunno how many are starters but it's good to see that the manager can perform in such circumstances
If Liverpool buy Kerkes and Semenyo gets snapped up, you can see that Bournemouth team being broken apart by the big boys and left in ruins. Iraola won't want to be around if/when it is all smashed up.

They sell their best players (e.g.Solanke) every year and still make a good fist of it. They are a properly run club.

I think if we lose to Everton and don’t beat Leicester, he’s in real danger especially if that sucks us closer to a relegation fight. I’m not expecting to beat Everton but I am expecting to beat Leicester.

Whatever way the board are thinking, he has to be on thin ice. I think they’re right to give him time but it wouldn’t have been a ridiculous decision of they’d sacked him by now.
They can’t sack him yet as the excuses about injury will stay with him and it will be another “unfair” dismissal. The Levy out phalanx will have a field day if the new manager doesn’t hit the ground running.

See that Bournemouth have gone 10 league games unbeaten despite those injuries and having to visit Stamford Bridge plus St James' Park this week, the last time we went that long without defeat was during Postecoglou's honeymoon period which now feels like an eternity ago.

Meanwhile this year Liverpool have drawn with MNU, lost to us, beat Accrington Stanley, drew with Forest, drew with Brentford. 3 draws and a loss from 4 proper teams. Very poor. Sack the lot of them. Salah is a spent force. Slot is hopeless. They've thrown the league away again. It's no good Slot crouching down and looking exasperated. Not good enough. Bring back Klopp, those were the glory days.... but then Nunez pokes one in, in the 91st minute.

They are 1st and we are 15th.

There is just the slightest of differences.

What happened to that kid they brought in a couple of years ago that was a Spurs fan and supposedly the bees knees? Can't remember the name. Is he any good now?

Alex Scott has been out since October following meniscus surgery.

ARS are depleted after a punishing game against Spurs. Saliba is out, so their wonderful centre back pairing is broken apart. Timber is playing CB because they don't have enough depth in their squad, with Partey playing right back!
How have ARS let it come to this? What a poor piece of squad building that is, after all these years. It means the hapless Merino gets another chance to prove his doubters wrong.

AST are struggling, only 25% possession, then the full back at the back post is asleep as Martinelli darts in front of him to score, with the hapless Martinez falling back into his own net. Useless effort, can hardly get out of their own half here. I thought Unai Emery was a tactical genius? They are being dominated and can hardly get out of their box. Now Onana goes down with an injury so they have to switch this accomplished midfielder with some 21 year old defender nobody has heard of. What a poor squad Villa have. A couple of injuries and they are down to square pegs in round holes. Terrible really.
