I voted in. But the more games that go by, unfortunately, the more I think he is out of his depth. He usually turns things around in his second season. That’s not happening any time soon though. If our players are knackered by Christmas, it’s only going to get worse as the season progresses. I think he needs to go sooner rather than later.
Given the injuries it’s not going to get better any time soon.

You say this all the time but spending more isn't actually the answer, spending better is. An easy example and not one I criticise the club for but we bought Johnson for £47m the very same summer that Cole Palmer left City for £40m. That's a smarter buy and for less money. We bought Richarlison for £60m as our first attempt at a Kane replacement but instead could have bought Duran for £17m.

So yes I know you find it easy to dismiss all criticism by claiming people just want to spunk money, when spending better is actually the answer and the request.
Palmer is fsir, I said that at the time
Duran… the player no one had heard of
There must be a better player that’s one you would have known at the time

My vote is set to "in", but I'm beyond thinking he could save this, tbh. I'm wanting it to get better and for things to change, but I don't think a few players returning from injury will change anything in the long term. We havent been consistently good for well over a year now, only in flashes here and there, and we always have a long injury list - looks like it might have something to do with the way we play, to me. I'm just not sure I would want Mason, Sherwood, Stellini or similar to take over as some sort of interim, which is why I've been leaning towards giving him more time - but if we have someone lined up or are nearing relegation, we need to act, in my opinion.
Same here. I want him to turn it around but can’t see it happening. But I don’t want another interim manager and yet another protracted search for a permanent one (though “permanent” is fairly loose term in our case).

It's not about who is well known, it's about what attributes suit. All players were an unknown at some point, the great scouting and recruitment systems find those players before they become superstars. I'm not even criticising and saying we should have signed those guys in particular but just to say to Raziel that the only solution from critics is not to spend more. Most of us have been arguing for spending better, I know you've seen me say the same things for years on here and I'm not the only one.

Everyone knows we need to make smart buys
But you can also point to failings at every club too for getting it wrong and also Getty f some right
The key for us is we need more and we need it now

Obviously and I would never claim that any model is going to consistently get it right but that's kind of veering into a different discussion.

My point moreso was to explain to @Raziel that for some of us the criticism of Levy and ENIC is not about gross spend but instead how we spend and when we spend. Those are not are things that are solved by spunking £200m-£300m. If we spend that figure in the same manner that we have been spending pre Paratici you'd still see me making the same complaints because the amount spent is not my complaint.

As I posted only a few days ago you can see how many we have let go to see how many we need to replace
And we need the majority signed to be right
We will get some wrong of course but that what happens when you buy humans
Paratici got things wrong and he was good .. but how he saw the man child Brian Gil and thought he can make it in this league I’ll never know
But he did buy a great full back in destiny for comparison

I’d be really interested to hear from people about what Ange could have done differently today?

Everyone calling for Son off, which he did. Add that to yet another injury to Udogie, and we end up with pub standard play down the left.

So what could he have done differently?
I’ve heard people talk about conceding the first goal again.. yet it was a free kick. Not sure what tactically he could do different there TBF

Could have started Werner in place of Son, can't recall when Son went off think it was 60 but was effectively 60 wasted minutes as he did absolutely nothing.

Dorrington has been at the club longer than Gray, why doesn't he try something different and put Gray in his preferred position, and put Dorrington at CB?

Agree there's not much else he could do but his style of play is getting worse, none of this quick passing through the middle from defenders anymore, just sideways backwards football and yet we are still being counter attacked.

He did do a triple sub earlier than expected which was proactive but the guys are out of ideas now and the football is very boring to watch and we don't even look like winning on possession anymore.

As someone said, the stats were better today, but we were playing Wolves. That being said, Wolves looked like a good organised side today, albeit there was some brickhousery in there too.

Repeat after me, control the game

We got out possessed by Wolves at home, the 2nd goal came after Wolves had a 15-20 minute spell of ~70% of possession. Wolves had a beak within 2 minutes of the start of the game.

This isn't a personnel problem, its a tactic of believing you can play a style of not trying to control the game and still win.

Spurs have not won a single game in the league by 1 goal all season

Today and the last few is the result of him not rotating and overloading certain players till they break

Today he could have brought berg on to firm up the middle when wolves started to come back into it and taken off solanke (running on fumes) moving kulu up top to hold on to the ball or heaven forbid Lankshear to go up top for fresh legs.

Or brought on Dorrington and gone to a back 5

Udogie or Porro were always going to be the next players to break down due to the job that is being asked of them

He can use the injuries as an excuse, but the TV said 4 Hamstring injuries now, that's not unlucky

You can argue all you want over what he could or couldn't of done but the upshot is we have dropped another couple of points in what should be banker 3 points at home (yes yes I know no such thing blah blah blah) if we're not beating the likes of Palace Ipswich & Wolves where are we going to be getting our points from to turn the season around?

You also missed out Fulham :tonguewink:

Control the game? Thats just noise without the ‘how’. Every player is on empty. I’m sure they want to keep possession, but it’s not a GHod given right.

Other teams are entitled to muster a ‘hard working’ 20 minutes. That’s when you defend tight and graft.

We kept 2nd half big chances to basically zero. Pretty sure that is controlling the game to a degree.
