Fans, the club. He shouldn’t get a life pass.

The club? Functionally he is the club, Lewis is gone, its a trust and Levy. And again, on a business side, shareholders are getting their value.

The fans, Spurs fans, the trust had a chance a long time ago to buy part of the club and have a voice, but hey, easier to bitch when its not your money, and now, none of us have any fudging influence

No single game should be a decider of whether someone should get the sack or not. He’s either on course to do as mandated, or he’s not. Of course, there will be a tipping point - but it won’t be “because we lost one game”.

Couldn’t agree more. The mediocre performances over a period of 12 months now, and the intransigence in approach, will be what cause it. But while we’re in with a realistic shout in that cup I think he will get a stay of execution.

So basically bend over and take it. Don't complain, just take your medicine.

He will get to the end of the season IMO because we have nowhere to go now in the league, but he loses his job unless he has some kind of upward trajectory, I just don't see the board backing him in the summer based on losing as many as we win
That's fair, and pretty much how I see it unless we get into a relegation fight. I'm still 'in', I want to see him given the season once injuries have cleared up. Plus having seen all the options spoke about, there is no amazing outstanding candidate that we must go in for now otherwise miss out on. Give him the season so he can prove himself and if he doesn't then we have given ourselves plenty of time to prepare for a replacement and better placed to do so at the end of the season (or not, you never know with us :D).

On a side note this reminds me of West Ham's situation under Moyes, majority of fans wanted him out all season due to poor results and being low down in the league but he remained in Europe and ended up winning it - now he's very much the Moyesiah. Not saying that will happen for us in the EL, but just a reminder of how things can change....

The Tottenham way was the issue with those two. Not spending massive fees on transfers and wages for established superstars was the incompatible part of the ethos.

I mean the fancy attacking football that Levy wanted to bring back to appease the fan base.

I just want to win, we could play ultra violent hoofball but if it worked I’d love it.

The board, surely he must be answerable to someone? I asked the question the other day how much more time does he deserve in terms of x number of years or managerial appointments. If the fans make things uncomfortable for him then eventually the pressure will get to him.
