I guess Xavi will make the announcement video.
I can’t wait for Savinho to play regularly and silence those doubters who are writing him off and saying that we massively overpaid.
Should be Leandro Damiao.

Which seems unlikely with the work permit
I don’t know if you add all the posts of blue and yellow from various threads and combined them …the legend goes onThis must be the longest thread ever for a player we haven't (yet) signed..... 69 pages!
I'm still holding out hope we get the band together and a new front 3 of Damiao, Rossi and Savinho by the time the window slams shutI don’t know if you add all the posts of blue and yellow from various threads and combined them …the legend goes on
Not really, just pointing out its unlikelySurely we’re not expecting a player to start for us having signed only 24 hours earlier?
I know international postal service is slow these days, but surely our letter to Rivaldo is due to arrive soon!I'm still holding out hope we get the band together and a new front 3 of Damiao, Rossi and Savinho by the time the window slams shut....
It all still hinges on the new players working out. It's definitely great they are the players the manager wants BUT the automatic label they are 'upgrades' or the price tag equals definite success is a fools game. We hope the following season's purchases are adding to that? And not replacing some. That, even without a massive increase in net spend, is a huge step change. My thing would be can we make big moves in coming seasons when we may only need one or two key players, will we still have the stomach to get the very best that the manager demands? And because we signed slightly more proven, do we sell at peak value again? Or are we willing to spend to rebuild again in 5 years? Those are big questions for me.
In this team he'll get a lot of chances in the final third. It's up to him to show he can deliverSo this wasn’t a endless time loop we were all co-existing in!
Now it’s finally done (or about to be), I feel better about this deal than before. Young, exciting, PL experienced and most importantly wants to join us. I’m sure he would have been receiving interest from other clubs but it never seemed that he was even remotely interested in going elsewhere.
COYS!
I saw your point about the jury being out on the Nepo kids because it may end up that our net spend won’t be that much more this summer. And to an extent I agree with that.
But also, it seems like smart clubs are just trading better now. Becoming more willing sellers in order to sign the right players for their manager. And importantly the top clubs pay the wages. The biggest difference in approach for us is that we’re acting decisively on the players we want, and we’re paying the wages. It is extremely exciting to think about what we could do this season with this squad and no Europe.

You only really feel you've overpaid if the players doesn't perform to the standard required. It's great we're getting the players we want, but I can't help but feel we're getting our pants pulled down. Overpaying for one player is fine, but it feels like we've overpaid for every single one of them.
