what has happened to the transfer section?

Spanish journo on french radio said Mourinho and Falcao to Chelsea. They have the same agent.

All top clubs with money (PSG, City, Madrid) are after Cavani.

PSG set for big changes, with Leonardo and Ancelotti shown the door so they dont know who will do the recruitment yet. Ibra wants to leave.

Crazy how a top club like Milan could possibly be interested in a brick player who is only popular because he is cool on twitter eh?

Have you seen Milan's line up lately?

They need to cut massive costs (along with Inter) in order to meet FFP regulations hence their considerable downsizing in terms of 'stars' and overall quality

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has set a £45million limit on their pursuit of Gareth Bale.

The Spanish giants are all set to make a big push for Spurs sensation Bale this summer - but can expect to be knocked back, especially at that price-tag.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has made it clear they are not going to sell Bale, even though Real are putting together a huge package in terms of transfer fee and contract.

Perez is prepared to offer a straight cash deal of £45m or a player-plus-cash deal, which will include either striker Gonzalo Higuain or winger Angel Di Maria.

Real are understood to have already made discreet enquiries - and have been sent packing by the north Londoners, who are determined to keep Bale.

Tottenham have even slapped an astonishing £100m price on Bale's head to put off interested parties and insist he does not want to leave White Hart Lane.

Granted it's the Mirror though.

What's this dude at st etienne like? He the sort of striker we should be looking at potentially affordable?

We were linked with him in the summer. Good player. Although I am sure in the summer he said he didn't like the way we went about doing deals. I could have got the wrong guy though as we were linked with alot of players.

£5 mill for Lopez. Read this if only to have a look at the journalist's photo!

A goal every other game for Lyon

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lisandro_López

hmmmm great goalscoring record, though not in a major league ever

Just wonder whether we'd be likely to sign him unless we do a major clear out of our forwards:
- Defoe: 30 already
- Dempsey: turns 30 during the course of next season
- Adebayor: unstable and hardly a long term solution

Add to that Lisandro Lopez who's 30 already....doesnt really strike me that Levy would sanction that unless we sold 2 of Ade, Defoe and Dempsey. Accept that 1 will definitely be going but just cant see it

Would also prefer that there's a bit more long term planing up top - we need one versatile forward and one out and out CF. Ideally would like to see one of them be up and coming (e.g 20 year old) and one semi-proven and approaching his prime (eg 25-26 year old)
