I started noticing less attacking contribution from the FBs
it's tied to Deki in center, he provides more threat up front, so we don't need the FBs as much
The greatest footballer of all time is Messi.
The Messi of this forum is @Bullet.
@Bullet said that Ange shouldn't push the fullbacks into a crowded #10 slot because they aren't as good on the ball as the real #10s and they then cannot sprint back to defend transitions.
@Bullet said the full backs should form part of the defence (radical, I know) and allow the forwards to be the attackers.
He's crazy that @Bullet guy, where does he get this insight from?
A real hero of mine
@Bullet

Would not blame him for today. The team really let him and the fans down in the second half.
I do blame him for not making subs to change the momentum of the game. Unless he genuinely thought he didn’t have the players on the bench to do that. But I’m not buying that Biss for Bentancur would have made a difference.

Or Spence for Udogie

Bizarre.

where was the game management?

as soon as they scored he should have done an arteta and had Vic fake an injury, let everyone get their breath back, make some subs, kill the flow, force a new phase

its fudging basic

This every day. He needed to take action to kill their momentum, but didn't, when it was clear for everyone to see that we were being overrun and looked increasingly clueless.

Suggest we all calm down, and take the rough with the smooth. We all enjoyed the last couple of weeks where his strengths were on full display - now a day like today comes along and reminds you of his glaring limitations, too.

As I've always said, we will win roughly more than we lose. We will finish roughly in and around the top six. We will have some beautiful football at certain points. Enjoy that.

And we will lose like we lost today, because we have one plan that relies on us outplaying the opponent in every area to be successful. There's no safety margin - if just one or two players have an off day or even an off-moment, if they don't win their challenges, if they're slow to react, our vulnerabilities are exposed. And ultimately players will always have at least some off-moments, which means we will always be at least somewhat vulnerable. And Postecoglou has said endlessly that he won't change anything, so this is what we have.

It's alright. Brighton away now out of the way, easier fixtures ahead, and we can build up another decent head of steam and hopefully come the end of the season finish somewhere around the top six. And life at Spurs goes on as it always has, and always will absent a change in ownership. ;)

I'd say he let the team down. Waiting to we are behind before making a sub is criminal. Nothing done by him to change the shape or counter the problems they were causing. It's so naive to continue playing the same way when it is not working.
Contrast that to wellbeck in his interview after the game, we were embarrassed and had to come and sort it, why can't our players feel like that?
I saw players our there still trying and some just basically fold, ange is hopefully learning who he can trust to pull us out of bad spells. There are a few who should be worried.

Forgot to set my watch.
Thanks for the prompt.

It’s bloody hard to change things mid game
You need one person on the pitch to start it
Shouting, screaming, pointing, or just talking
I didn’t see any accountability
