Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

£49m?! What a joke that is! Liverpool have done really well to get so much for him. His best season goals wise was 2013/14 when he scored 9 in the league. I suppose from Emirates Marketing Project's point of view, it stops any other English club from getting him and it also weakens a top 6 rival, and Emirates Marketing Project aren't exactly skint so shelling out £49m isn't too much of a big deal.

This is good for Spurs though. in last 12 months, they have lost Suarez, Gerrard and Sterling, 3 of their best and most influential players. Given how they did a Spurs last season in terms how they wasted money from selling their best player, I believe we have a very good chance of consolidating 5th place provided we improving our GHod awful defending from last season.

It really is lunacy but I guess it must mean that Emirates Marketing Project really do value him and not just as another homegrown player as some have suggested. I personally think he is overrated and even if he wasn't paying nearly £50m and handing 200k a week to a 20 year old kid is always a mad risk.

He must now be one of the biggest earning players in the world.

I doubt he's one of the biggest earners in Manchester, let alone the world

we know Rooney is on 400k, Toure and Aguero must be on similar, probably Di Maria as well

400k a week? I'm sure when he last agreed a deal that I read 250k.

In 10 years time there will be a "justice for the Twitter one" campaign for the idiot that posted that. After all couldn't possibly be his fault can it?

I see Sterling will get the #7 shirt at City. Quite fitting, since 7 is also the avg. number of minutes per game he will get!

Both those losers have deleted their accounts or changed their settings. This is why I hate social media - keyboard warriors hard as nails behind the veil of anonymity, then when they get a bit of attention back they fold like napkins. I'm guessing about 14 years old both of them??

teletext is full of macarons.

Agreed. Never say anything here you wouldn't say to someone's face. Safe rule. Even for macarons, as should they say such vile brick, it will only be the once.

so how much is that Liverpool have spent over the past 2 summers now? Must be almost 200 million now. Apparently we should have been challenging for the title after spending our 100 according to Rodgers. Would fudging love it if we finished above them again this season.

looks like their 32.5 mill bid for Benteke will be going in tonight according to most reports....the supposed interest from Utd must have spooked them
