For a start he wanted to play for a club with history,tradition . Or he wanted to play for the one who has won honours rather than a club who has won only CC in last decade and Qualified only once for CL (finishing fourth) and claim themselves to be a big club

They look like they will be decent this season if they get Sahin.

Reina in goal, a solid defence, Lucas, Allen, Sahin in midfield with Suarez, potentially Tello and Borini upfront.

Under a Rodgers system that could be good.
