I have seen the first stat at times, but I have never seen a stat that he actually consistently covered more ground than all our other players.

Either way, Crouch also covered more ground than 90% of our players at the time, at least. It's not just about covering ground, it's also something to do with how quickly you do it. High intensity runs etc.

I think the fact he isn't wanted by AVB and doesn't fit into his system are probably the major factors.
