The Official 2015/16 Premier League Thread

Wonder what sort of genius mind-game Mourinho can play to deflect attention today.

It's great to see. He creates a cult of personality around himself by sucking up all the attention, doing something ridiculous, and because Chelsea have usually spent £200m more on their team than their next opponents, they win again and he looks like a genius. Now I think most teams in the league are making decent money because of the TV deal, coaching right across the board is improved at most clubs and there is also the feeling that spending the most money doesn't guarantee success.

As such, teams are having a go at Chelsea and not running scared, and his attention seeking mind games are making things worse. If he had just calmly ridden the wave they would probably be in much better shape right now. But from the whole physio situation onwards he just doesn't seem to have the touch any more. It's wonderful to see, particularly when our club seems like a picture of great team spirit and stability, pulling in one direction.

Wow, that seven-minute post-match diatribe from Mourinho really is something for the history books.

Lost the plot, completely.

Koeman did a very good job last year, now doing even better imo

And there's more: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34435619

I think it was always inevitable, given his character, but Mourinho actually needs professional intervention now.

By my count,

THAT's what he was so exercised about? Falcao was going down before the keeper even got there. He fuсking dived.

8 points in 8 games for the chavs. What were we under Ramos before Arry came in ? They've got it ez, they can still win the league like Jose said ! But that specch/rant at Sky was golden ...

imo there was one game that burst the Mourinho/Chelsea bubble and somehow they have never recovered fully even though they went on and managed to win the league last season

that game was Tottenham 5-3 Chelsea

psychologically theyve never been the same

so Chelski v Villa next in two weeks time... losing manager to get the boot? :)

Just can't see Jose getting sacked, they are a match made in heaven, or hell depending on your view point.

Well, Mourinho was forced to leave during his first term at Chelsea. So, won't be surprised if he is forced to leave again. After all, Chelsea had had their worst start to a league season for something like 40 years ! He should have never joined back Chelsea. There is this unwritten rule in football which says you should never go back to your old club, either as a player or manager ! Mourinho is just proving that again !

Too bad that we are not facing Chelsea now. It looks like anyone can beat them now ! But by the time we meet them on Nov 29, you know they would have improved by then !

So, here's hoping for at least an Everton draw, preferably a win.

And a minimum of a draw for Man U, coupled with a win for us and that would be a fantastic day.
