It either says something about the quality of the other English strikers or the England manager. Possibly a bit of both.

Got a mate who is a sunderland fan and he reckons the sun shines out of campbells arse, the is no way he could have improved enough since he left us to be an international except for the fact as you say we have no good strikers anymore.

I think from what i have seen of him i prefer wickham to campbell.
