Random one but watching this test its made me realise what a hodge podge of a ground the oval is, the pavilion looks like its been sandwiched between two council estates.

Always felt like a big empty bowl to me, being a Middlesex man always feels like enemy territory.

It's one of my fav grounds to go and watch cricket in but is very random
The playing surface has reduced by 25% over the last 20 years of development as they have zero space around it

You could see Stokes face that he knew he f**ked up there. Harmison reckons his knee is so fudged that it was probably the pain of him landing on it when he jumped to catch it. Who knows? Gutting though wasn't it

What a fairytale ending. Finish your career by hitting a 6 and then taking the final wicket. Brilliant. But brilliant end to the series altogether really seeing as it looked totally lost at one stage.
