Ferguson, for whatever reason, wants it known that Man Utd are desperate for Lucas. That's obviously the source of Cass's news.
The news in L'Equipe/Sky Italia is clearly from Ribeiro (Lucas's agent) IMO. It could be true, but it's come from him, so treat with caution
Also, treat everything from Cass, even if it's Ferguson-driven, with a lot of caution.
