:lol: Age old argument I've had on GG for over a decade. It's Hoddle deja vu all over again (we need to drop Sheringham, Poyet and Anderton and play McEwan, Davies and Etherington as they're the future! - ah, the good old days :lol: )

Actually with me it is not a case of who we drop but rather who we bring in.

You have to leave an opening for youth to prove whether they are good enough or not.
It's also financially sane as someone that isn't quite good enough for us will have gotten experience and recognition, making it possible to sell said player in stead of just releasing him.

Plus younger players are 'generally' paid less as they haven't yet proved themselves.

Resale value all the way.

Graham Roberts has just stated on the radio that his sources into the club have informed him that the AVB deal will be announced within the next 2 days together with details of "Arab investment" into the club

That may be the case and it may be complete fiction but he has nothing to gain by telling porkies. Besides within 48 hours we will know either way

He also indicated that Bale only signed the new contract because he was told there was going to be new investment on players

Seedorf official to Botafoga, I'm a little bit disappointed knowing we'll never see him in the premier league but I guess also relieved slightly in case it didn't work out...

@dommnorris
Alan Dzagoev's father has confirmed that Tottenham have made tentative enquiries regarding the purchase of his son from CSKA Moscow.

Interesting. Seems like a great prospect, but how many Russians have come to England and been successful? Pav? Arshavin? Zhirkov?

Who: rebrab
When: 1/7/12
where: SC

Someone is about to sign on the dotted line. Perhaps with their own brand of pen
