I wouldn't be surprised if Levy included a 10% sell on clause, united probably have to pay us 400k

After he played a large role in the events which ended up with Jol losing his job, I am in serious shock that Jol will have him back.

4 years on, you can't say they've taken a £27mil hit, they got their use out of him and are now selling him on. The hit would be what his current value should be (somewhere in the region of £10mil for me) so it would be £6mil.
It's like buying a £12,000 car and then selling it 4 years later for less than that. You haven't taken a hit, the value has just naturally depreciated.

Personally think the Modric thread has done its time now too.

Not particularly interested in his career anymore.

How so? DL knew he wanted out all along (1 year minimum,) wanted to extract max. fee hence the last day circus, sold Keane, got 50m and bough Pav and hired a man who couldn't speak English

We failed to replace Carrick which was also a massive blow

A source close to FC Porto just told me the transfer of Moutinho to Spurs should be announced in the next 24 hours. Will keep you posted.
