Wilian being support/rotation with Bale and Lennon

Bale and Lennon being expected to contribute a lot by way of goals

Something Dembele isnt to great at

Aside from the fact thats the position Dembele played BEFORE he became top class at CM - seems a bit backward to me all in

Which would leave VDV and Sigurdsson on the bench. While Demebele doesnt offer half the goal threat of either....

Dembele may have been signed due to be the 'versatile' role.. Cover for 3-4 spots..


Though i don't think he'd have signed for us if that is what he was told was going to happen...

I think it's pretty obvious VDV is leaving mate, it all adds up. There has been so much speculation about it, his wife still works in Germany, he was always going to go back there at some point, we've already signed a younger albeit less proven replacement in Sigurdsson, German club said they'd given up hope of signing him now all of a sudden they come out again and say they're going to try their hardest to get him blah blah blah.....

Agreed - he wouldnt have bought into that knowing full well another season in Fulhams CM like he has had the last 6 months and top european sides would be climbing over each other to get him

This guy said that sahin had chosen liverpool on the 16th. He signed for them on 25th.

Great at dribbling, quite creative, zero goal threat. No better than Lennon in that respect and quite similar in others for that position.

Absolutely flourishes at CM though...

assuming you want 2 players for each position :

_____Sandro Moutinho
_______Dembele
Lennon__________Bale

and

____Livermore Parker
______Sigurdsson
???_____________???

possibly VdV and GDS in the wing forward positions in the second one, could fit them all in i guess, id imagine VdV will be on his way though if we do sign Moutinho but that would require ANOTHER midfielder being signed to cover Lennon and/or Bale

i expected the Modric deal to spark a bit of movement but not this much :lol:
