Politics, politics, politics

Going with channel 4 tonight. At least the guests are not holding back. Plus Paxman on his aloof wind-ups and David Mitchell with very funny observations.

Something wrong there I think.

Exit poll predicting a 10 point swing to Labour in Bolton where they voted 55% leave?

Doesn't smell right to me.

There does not appear to be a majority for independence at the moment
Oh I know. Who knows what they'll want if they start having an influence south of the border.
Sturgeons wants out but her arch enemy May is disappearing down the plughole sometime soon.
Oh f.ck it I can't be arsed to work out the pathway from here.
Let's activate the brexit process....beef up my majority....engage strong and stable leadership.....And lead the oh so Great Britain to the promised land.

Been knocked a tad off course me thinks.

I think that the Tories have underplayed Brexit. Labour's position is not significantly different and events have stopped it being as much a key issue as they would've hoped.

I think that people also under estimate how much the Brexit vote was a kick in the knackers of Westminster rather than Brussels. The Tories gave the country a big "fudge you" button and people hit it.

My Dad voted leave and has voted UKIP in the past. He voted Labour, for Corbyn, this time. A lot of what was in the Labour manifesto is popular with 'Red Ukippers.' We'll find out if the poll is right, but it is possible.

If the exit poll is correct then You Gov have got this spot on until their final poll

Bottled it a little didn't they, with a change in their methods in the last poll. But they hedged their bets with their other model.

Survation is probably the best pollster, if the exit poll is correct.

I do wish David Mitchell would get that tooth sorted out. I'm mesmerised by it. I know he is funny but I can't stop thinking about that tooth. How has it survived all these years? Why? When?
