Politics, politics, politics

I already have!
ATM watch documentary on Cross Rail.......QT boringly predictable

I can't help but watch this brick and look at polls that end up wrong.

On a different note, a lad at my work who has never voted in anything bar the EU ref (he voted to leave) has decided that he's going to vote Labour after I told him to check out what they plan to do. His Mrs will vote Labour too, and I'll be sending him a txt on the day to remind him to get out and vote!

We need to educate people better so they can make an informed opinion. Mind it's too late for brexit........the Tory barmy army have a lot to answer for. Very sad.

We need a lot more honesty in the media to help with that, from all sides.

That was my point.

There are all kinds of reasons why people stopped voting Lib Dem. To assume they all did so through some kind of Tory hatred is as narrow minded as the opinion itself.

Looking at yourself in the mirror again i see. Of course there are other reasons but they killed themselves by being in the coalition and bending over at everything flip flop David said.

I have decided I certainly wont vote Labour, I do not like racism and their treatment of the Jewish is appalling. If the English Democrats are not on the ballot then second general election running I will draw a penis across the paper. I like the English Democrats they are the party most in touch with me.

There's the Elvis Bus Pass Party or the Pirate Party in some constituencies. I've always got time for knowing loonies

With the Lib Dems, is it all about (generally - in the public view) Clegg 'reneging' on the tuition fee promise that has led to their demise?

Maybe I'm wrong, but if that's the case, I feel he's been hard done by. That promise was made on the premise that they would be in sole government, no?

They weren't, they were the junior member in a coalition, so naturally they didn't carte blanche on their manifesto.

I like Clegg whenever he speaks; cones across like a decent bloke. I feel he's kinda been done disservice by history.

Clegg is my MP and he's a good guy. A bit flappy, but well intentioned.

I did not watch it but was the debate on the BBC as biased as I am hearing, well it is the BBC so I am guessing yes.

I think it's that the labour/left audience members in general tend to be far more vocal than other audience members at these kind of events that creates (or perhaps reinforces) the impression of bias. This one actually didn't seem quite as bad to me, but there was plenty of the usual wooping and wooing of course.

I'm even sad enough to watch the spin-room thing afterwards on bbc news. I have to say I quite like David Davis. I don't agree with most of his politics (though I think he's a good guy when it comes to civil liberties), but he seems like a bloke you could disagree with and get on with all the same.

The whooping is really irritating, does him no favours.

I phucking hate whooping, but I am a miserable qunt. I've got some acoustic performances by Neil Young on my mp3 player -- some done on the bbc in the 70s, no whooping, no interruptions of the songs, just applause at the end. Lovely. Then some from the 90s in America, whooping after a couple of bars of every song, makes me grit my teeth every time -- "shut up you qunts!"

Yeah, I get that impression as well.

Boris Johnson, on the other hand, has a character that would be greatly improved by a good hiding. I can't stand that qunt.
