Just watched a bit of classic Bond, The man with the golden gun on itv4. Horribly wooden acting and dated special effects, but always entertaining and worth a watch. Especially for his bird in it, Goodnight. Would certainly not kick her out of bed for farting.

What's everyone's favourite Bond film?

Live and Let Die...

Watched The Hunger Games last night, I thought it was a massive pile of brick! Jennifer Lawrence is nice to look at though.

I am planning on going to see The Hunger Games over the weekend as it looks good in trailer (appears to be a cross between The Running Man + Battle Royale + The Lord of the Flies) and is getting great reviews on IMDb and RottenTomatoes... What was so wrong with it then?

Missus wants to go see Hunger Games... Doesn't appeal to me but will go to keep her happy so that I can go to Wrath Of The Titans with me mate on the Friday

To be fair, I know absolutely nothing about the books so that probably doesn't help. For me, it was just too weird (when you see some of the costumes and make up you'll see what I mean), far fetched and a few key plot points went unexplained as far as I'm concerned. A few too many gaping plot holes I found. I won't give any details as I don't want to ruin it for those that haven't seen it. Jennifer Lawrence gave an excellent performance, same goes for Woody Harrelson. On reflection, maybe I was harsh, but I wouldn't give it more than 2.5 out of 5.

Keep hearing Twilight comparisons, is that because it's mardy teenage romance brick, or just because it's based on a popular book
