By replacing Sandro with a midfielder from Southampton?

From what i have read Capoue sounds more the DM he would prefer - defensively able but more comfortable on the ball - pair him with Schneiderlin and im guessing it would be similar to what he had last season, no?
 
So Liverpool given permission to talk to Remy, must be offering more wages than Arsenal did otherwise I can't honestly see why you would choose LFC over AFC

by thinking he wont fit into his system, he would. Capoue and Schneiderlin are VERY similar, but I think theyd do well together.
 
Schneiderlin and Dembele would be a better balanced pair IMO. Schneiderlin looks to sit deep (mostly) from what I have seen, in a similar fashion to Capoue. Too samey I would say.

I personally think one or the other. And for me, Schneiderlin is the upgrade.
 
We are in for Memphis Depay apparently. 13m.

Would rather Griezman and would have preferred Markovic even more. Would prefer Memphis over Konoplyanka tho

very good footballer. 13m would be a bargain and cheaper than Griezmann.
 
Not really ITK or anything, but raises an interesting point:

My understanding is that it would be better to process a sig/Davies/vorm swap in 3 deals as opposed to 1, as none of the players have a sell-on clause and, believe it or not, it's easier to circumvent tax in football with straight deals than it is swaps. We've only paid tax under levy twice because of how he reinvests the money, if he puts our profit back into the stadium this works out better. Of course, this makes little difference to how a deal would be portrayed in the media.

PS I won't comment on the deal itself, it's all out there and pretty obvious.

Completely incorrect though, as the 30% sell-on-fee on Vorm has been widely reported.
 
haha.. had a dream last night.. I was on a stage ala Hunger games announcing stuff.. have no idea what.. I pulled out of the hat some names.

Griezmann was the first followed by Andros Townsend, then Schneiderlin putting his hand up saying he would replace Townsend.

Does that mean Townsend is going to Southampton!? hahahaaha
 
Poch has already stated it will be a quiet transfer window and that we have a big squad. I doubt very much that we are going to bring in anymore than 3 players.

Prophetic stuff there. I once dreamt the NLD, even got the half time score, full time score and first scorer lol. Sadly I never put money on it.
