Modric urges Spurs star to join Real Madrid

Now Modric has had his say on Bale’s future, and says he ‘hopes’ the winger will one day join him in Spain.

"I agree he should play for Real Madrid and I hope he'll come," he said.

He added: "It would be amazing and I think he can [play for Real Madrid]. He's a good enough player."

Bale has spoken of his desire to play abroad on numerous occasions in the past, although he recently signed a contract extension with Spurs that could keep him at White Hart Lane until 2016

So, what was the question? I think the journalist is the biggest rat here. It's by BBC Wales, so they obviously have their agenda.
