Maybe it was not a world class goal by Bale but it certainly was very clever of him to put pressure on the goalie like that. And the goalie was too casual to clear the ball. Either the goalie got panic seeing Bale coming at him or he really wanted to see Bale score.:lol:

Especially when you consider that ARSEnal have had 8 seasons in which a striker has scored 20+ goals (Wright, Henry x5, Adebayor, van Persie) out of the 39 Premier League players who've managed the feat since then and a Tottenham player hasn't won the Golden Boot since Sheringham in 1992/93.

Ronaldo was sold for £80m after a 26 in 53 season. Bale has 24 in 40.

Although Ronaldo did have a 42 in 49 season prior to that :-"

Bale currently has 16 in his last 18 so he's approaching that kind of form.

I know were biased but De Gea? The man is still dodgy as fudge from crosses. Great shot stopper but that is the absolute minimum you should expect from a good keeper. Begovic or Lloris would have been better choices.

Begovic probably should have got in as the GK but what kind of midfield is that? Hazarad should not be there in place of an actual CM.
