Dominic Solanke

The only reason Werner gets hate is because of his Chelsea days, if we had signed a relatively unknown player who put in the performances he did last season, everyone would be saying he was a good buy.
And because he misses chances he should do better with
But on this role his creation is key and he is good at that
Just need a CF to stay in the box now

If Solanke signs for Spurs it will be his 5th club, including one loan club.

Tottenham are Richarlsons 5th club also.

Richarlison has moved up a level with every step. Solanke has yo-yo-ed.

Journeyman isn't about moving about either - it's the level of craftsman between an apprentice and a master.

He came into the club knowing he'd be competing with Kane. A journeyman from Bournemouth who is no where near the England squad shouldn't worry him. He also knows he can do a job (is arguably our best option) at LWF.

Hopefully it turns out to do what signing Bentley did to Lennon.
Bentley was always unavailable which does align with one playee for sure

Perhaps our main target is some Japanese striker none of us have heard of… and meanwhile we know Richie has big injury issues and have been offered £60m for him… so we know we can flip Richie for Solanke for zero outlay and retain the ‘Prem Proven’ striker, whilst actually getting the Japanese (or wherever) import as our new new guy…
Ayew Itikay?

People talk him down because he’s a meh player. I wouldn’t even say he gets hate. The fact that we have loaned in him again rather than buying him says it all. I suspect we’ve got him in again because we know he can do an ok ish job but he’s not the sort of signing that’s going to take us up another level and if people think otherwise they’re just going to be disappointed.

I wouldn’t say Richarlison’s actual game has moved up though. He was great at scoring tap ins last season but not much else. His overall play is ok but nothing more.
