Christian Eriksen

The flick for Rose -> Lamela, the cross for Alli, the flick over the defenders head for Kane's goal against Pool.

Eriksen plays some sublime stuff ... and like Jan, seems a lot happier this year ... still think he has another gear in him.
 
Still don't understand why he can't score from free kicks nowadays. He did hit the post against WBA but why can't he score like last season ? Remember, he was being hailed us one of the best free kicks specialists in the world last season. But his free kicks has been largely poor this season.
 
As far as my research shows, he scored 3 goals from direct free kicks in the league last season (Saudi Sportswashing Machine, Leicester, West Brom). This season he has scored two, both against Swansea.
 
Another assist yesterday (a GREAT one btw); he now has 16 assists in the PL.
How hilarious would it be if he pipped Ozil on assists by the end of the season?
Ozil is on 18 (only 2 this calender year though i believe)

Yes, if you put the ball right into the clunge of doom, it's gonna get very wet and slippy and somebody will do something they regret. That is definitely an assist. Just like if you shoot across goal and a defender can't get out the way and it bundles into the net. But what I think every fan of this forum is thinking... is this: Is the frame of the goal, the posts and the bar, is that part of the goal target, or just part of the goal... is it the pie crust or the pie, is it the gums or the teeth. We should really have a thread about this.
