I'm a big believer in the influence of human stupidity. As are you going by how you write a lot of your posts.

Seems that you see a lot of this as a result of culture war stuff. That's fair, it's definitely a factor. Far from the only one where Harris essentially had very little actual impact, but one of them.

I get that some people have been pushed to the right and to Trump over the culture war issues.

Why though? Why does this make people so fudging angry that this pushes them towards Trump, fascists, racists etc?

Most people who are angry about this, angry enough about it to have it influence their voting haven't just become angry because of the games, the movies, CRT or pronouns. Other people have made them angry about it. Other people with secondary motivations have made them angry about the culture war brick. In part to get people to vote against their own interests. People aren't THIS stupid on their own. They're being played and can't see it.

With this, like with Q-anon stuff, the evangelicals, racism, climate denialism, covid conspiracies etc Trump panders to it. The amoral dipbrick he is he will do anything that serves himself.

And as a part of this self serving bastards knowingly are doing his leg work by getting people angry about CRT, wokeism in Star Wars, climate science etc. It's a strategy, politically and ideologically to get people angry about CRT, wokeism in Star Wars, pronouns etc.

That's not on the Democrats. That's on the people being bastards.

It doesn't matter if he told the truth or lied through his teeth, he got people angry at the way things are (or perceived to be), the political establishment got blamed and he is seen as an outsider that will change it. Nothing to do with wokeness.

Latino men in particular have gone Trump's way. Not sure how that benefits them, they'll get fudged over harder than anyone else, but someone will analyse and explain it I guess.

The final tallies are not in but it looks like Harris got 15mil fewer votes than Biden which is a huge number. She ran on a liberal centrist platform and appears to have lost the progressive vote entirely.

Yup, tax breaks for the rich and reduced corporation tax, enough to get Musk fully on board. He also now has Trumps ear, can influence things to how he wants them. They're the only reason he gives a fudge about Trump.

That would heavily depend on on what terms the war ends. If it ends and Russia get to keep the territory they currently occupy, it would be a catastrophe of epic proportions! That would literally be saying that it's perfectly fine to attack another country and occupy it, as there will be no consequences.

The average person in the street has more in common with their neighbour even if they have a different skin colour, religion or sexuallity than they do with any of these grifters.
What could they possibly say to make you think they understand anything about your life.
The people they want us to believe are different from you are actually pretty much the same as us.
The trumps, Farage, Robinsons and yes the radicalisers (if that's a word) in the "religious" groups (Muslim, right wing Christian, JWs etc) need us, we don't need them or what they are selling.
We'd be better off building a community with our neighbours even with their differences.
