Absolutely. We've missed Odobert a lot this season imo. I thought he looked really promising in the little game time he got, but even if he had been just decent he would have been a valuable option to have.

Even Moore's illness has been detrimental to us and he's just 17. But we've needed an option like him both for rotation and because he's the kind of profile we've been missing.

I guess there's a chance Yang could end up being useful fairly quickly. It's such a massive step up though, and personally a big move around the world for a young man. We should be careful about our expectations on him in the first months here.

Don't be so harsh on yourself. No one wants to be stabbed in the eyes by a lagging auto-start video riddled ad campaign for shoes or vitamins or whatever brick is being peddled in between a few words some sensationalist journalist has rehashed from someone else. I don't know if ESPN is actually that bad, but I'm not about to take the chance.

ESPN is really not that bad, but I use an adblocker so I don't see the true trashiness. They're not tabloid journalism and the paid content can be decent (it's bundled with my disney/hulu sub).
 
Merry Christmas, he's arrived. Still only 18 and has to get used to the physicality of the epl.

“Tottenham has advised me to focus on recovery since I’ll be arriving after finishing my league season. They’ve also provided a training program centered around stretching and recovery. This will be my first time in London, so I’m excited and looking forward to going.

“Initially, I’ll be adjusting with the help of my agent, and once I settle in, my parents plan to come over to live with me. My visa hasn’t been issued yet, so it might take about a week to sort out those matters.

“My goal is to complete the remainder of the season without injuries, participate in matches, and contribute to the team with goals or assists. I haven’t set specific personal goals yet. I feel ready, and I’ll work even harder to show my best performance. I hope fans will continue to cheer for me. Genuinely think he could be the kick start to our season and push us onto some sort of glory.

Semi Final & Final match winning goals maybe to elevate him to legendary status, even more than Jonathan Woodgate (Cechs hand)?

Very doubtful. Yang will take ages to settle in, the K-League is not strong, they have way more time on the ball. The Prem is a huge step up from European leagues, let alone the K-league.

I shall come back to this when he scores a brace as a sub in his first game against Saudi Sportswashing Machine on 4th Jan.

If he doesn't then I'll come back and delete it.
