you can't bracket given with seaman, I know he was a gooner but he was a proper keeper, given wasn't

given was very highly rated within england tho between the 90's and 00's. you would often hear people say that he could/should be playing for a title challenger. either way, the likes of seaman and given only look good when you compare them to goalkeepers who make a howler every other week. ie. david james (in his early career), ian walker etc. the mid-table teams in the premier league now have keepers who are far better than the likes of ian walker.

theres spanish players who havent made the spain 23, who would easily start for holland
 
Pique, Ramos, Casillas. They're incredibly overrated because they play for good teams and rarely have to do much defending.

I think that Seaman was better than you are giving him credit for
