goalkeeping has really improved in the past decade, and being a passive goalkeeper who doesnt make obvious blunders isnt enough now. the days when the likes of shay given and david seaman were the best are gone now. you need much more to your skillset than those guys did to be a top top goalkeeper these days.

you can't bracket given with seaman, I know he was a gooner but he was a proper keeper, given wasn't
