Will Lankshear

I thought he was quite good and showed real promise in his first real start. Had a couple chances to score which kind of proves he knows where to be. I actually thought our performance as a team dropped significantly once we took him off, we seemed to lose the reference point.

Hopefully he gets more minutes in the upcoming games. I'd definitely have him ahead of Kulu for the stand in striker role.

I’d have him number 2 now behind solanke and fighting with Richy if he gets fit

Likewise. I have no idea how good he might get to be but he looks very promising at his age. Not trying to hype but possibly the best young striker performance I've seen from one of our prospects?

Yeah for sure
I personally think we offloaded Parrott too early but we won’t do that here. We’re at least giving these players adult football now
I don’t think we will see Scarlett step up without better loans and I don’t think Lankshear will go ok loan now

What's wrong with the loans Scarlett has had? Honest question as i've not really been following closely

My thoughts as well, he still has a lot of work to do to if he wants to be a regular in the first team for us. Hope he does but i have seen over the years a lot of very promising forwards fail to live up to expectations. Good luck to him.
Lankshear looks good. Scarlett I don't even think is promising. Will never make it at the top level.

Let Lankshear get a season of playing senior football under his belt.

Get Veliz settled in the UK.

Lankshear might show he is ready before next season though, and Veliz needs to step up.
Fair.

Although I don't think there's any plans for Lankshear to go out on loan.

I’d heard really mixed views in Veliz in the game
Some think how the hell did he get this move and others that he has real potential
Nothing quite in between which is odd
I like him. Love the commitment he shows and he gets about too but he needs to add goals now at a senior level

There was plenty of talk and interest for him this season before he impressed, and then got injured.

I think I'm in-between.
He makes some good runs, looks decent in the air, works hard and would fit the CF we want. I just haven't seen the quality for him in front of goals.

ATM I wouldn't have him as the back up CF, but if he was one of them and then he gets time with Ange and the coaching team to see what he can go.

Has there been anything not positive? He's been one of the most hyped south american players for a couple of years and it was see as a big coup for us to get him after that youth tournament he particularly impressed at. Ange seemed to trust him and threw him into a few games. He had an imjury and a bad first loan, but seems to be doing well now.

He's quite a physical player, so it might take him a little bit longer than say a specialist quick player to start dominating against adults in the same way. The same as it did Kane

We needed him to spend 1 of the next 2 years with us for him to classify as homegrown (as remember we signed him from Sheff U, rather than him coming through our younger age groups).

He also looks pretty first team ready already
