Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Absolutely this and with that there is, or at least for me, a sense that rather than a siege mentality from the fans, there are those that have decided to goad their own club because it somehow separates themselves from the failure and they can somehow feel better about it and themselves, its definitely seen a blame culture develop, not that its exclusive to Spurs.

I always think you learn more In the harder times and that's probably a period to close ranks, others feel the need to slate absolutely everything we do and add an extra layer of fuel to the negativity
People feel comfort if they can find someone to blame. It's a fallacy resolution for their mind.

Furthermore, the vast majority of opinions or views, changing or forming, are done in an emotional state/moment. SM has provided the neverending merry go round to facilitate this.

I think for younger generations they are social media obsessed and so all Spurs fans get is being goaded for never winning trophies etc and it is only natural that will get to you and therefore winning trophies is a greater priority. Whereas I'm guessing someone such as yourself doesn't involve themselves much in that side of things. Obviously you get that just from face to face interaction with friends etc aswell but it really is rammed down your throat on social media, thankfully I don't live on there.

I do kind of wish I'd been around in earlier times as things seemed to be much more authentic then, even the way the modern game has everything system based which in some ways is impressive but also can flush out the brilliance of mavericks - I'm not sure how a Ginola or Jose Dominguez :)D) would have fared in todays game.

I think the consensus on this board is definitely after the last few years everyone just wants to enjoy a good brand of football again, and see signs of progression which we will definitely get under Ange. But you can bet your bottom dollar it will only be a season or two before people again get restless about winning things etc.....

Ginola was a little spark of hope in a dark time. Son is levels above.

Does any other club have to put up with the sort of nonsense we do when it comes to the press trying to sell our players?

What a fudging plonker, well handled by Ange.

yeh definitely, good to see him show his teeth early doors, didn’t see it so providing it didn’t look like he got triggered, and I suspect he didn’t, will make others know he’s no walkover.

I think he quite simply 'doesnt suffer fools'
Thankfully I haven't heard him say the word suffer once! Rather it's more enjoy the football, have fun and entertain! What a welcome change from the doom and gloom and suffering under Conte!
I'd get pretty down and miserable if the coach only focused on suffering! Football is meant to be enjoyable, not endless suffering.

Mate I've got 3 mins in and switched it off. He is all over the shop "Fulham have identified...ermm they are close to signing the Wolves striker"...he don't know what he wants to say but knows it has to be negative.

This blokes a grade A cnut, he was one I posted about before...him and Savva....proper pair of planks

I get people get upset and frustrated but people who cling onto the negatives as churn it as if its the norm....they come across like a bunch of bedwetting Virgins
