Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Whats with the deep breaths before every sentence? I hope thats just the mic being sensitive as that could get annoying quickly.

haha, I read this comment and thought to myself "how bad can it be?", but then I turned on the clip and I'm just laughing at the loudness of them! hahaha. But that's just the mic being way way too sensitive. No need for that level of sensitivity.

Really impressed with what he had to say. Well now he has proved he can talk the talk lets ALL hope he can walk the walk. I know i have sald it before but i can not wait to see how we go and i hope we give him the time to bring our GREAT club back to GLORY.

I'm sure we will have people say the time is up to Levy, but if we are being honest, the fans need to give the guy time/backing as well

Unfortunately there is a small percentage of fans who are not happy with Ange’s appointment and still not happy with Levy, we lose a couple of our first games, i could see some boo’s happening.

Well it's like replacing Kane with the top scorer from the Scottish league. Ange looks like a sound coach but lacks the experience for the EPL. Jessie Marsh comes to mind...speaks well tries to play attractive football but not good enough for the epl. People had hope for And in our history we have had similar.

First few games are critical for anyone in the epl but that's the intensity and the competitiveness of the epl ...you can't take your time to produce results and a good reputation will get you farther than none.

I'm reserving judgement and it will come naturally after a series of games.

Of course the media projecting recklessly like this isn't helping and will sway the more emotional segment of the support

The Sunday sport is more creditable than the national.
Strangely its sister paper, the herald, does have half decent journalists and for some reason I can't explain is still running pro ange articles. Can't remember the last time the Scottish press showed so much interest in spurs.

The funny thing is I've seen many complimentary and good luck messages from Gers fans on articles. And not from the angle of 'loving it that he's left Celtic' ...more that they have respect for him and just plainly think he's a bloody good coach/guy

I know, he's a real throw back in that regard.
Its been a long time since an opposing side of the old firm held another in such high regard.
It doesn't happen often and it really does need to be someone quite special to rise above the madness.
They can admire the player, but it's totally different to admire the person and that's the case with ange.
A bit unsettling tbh.

Plus they might change the toppings on the pizzas, it could be raining, works on rail lines or strikes and poor choice of "music" on pa. As Brando said in the Wild One when asked what he was rebelling against "what have you got"

If people are really taling their ques from an article suggsting relegation because a few Betfair Bets at 55/1 then so be it, its ridiculous

Plenty of managers come to the PL without experience and do well, in fact there is a trend for managers now being better off for it, maybe a fresh perspective on football. Marsh was just a poor manager, not sure it's a great like for like

Klopp, Pep, Ten Haag, Kompany, Thomas Frank, De Zerbi - all from abroad and all arguably successful within the boundaries of their respective clubs. Doesn't automatically mean Ange will be a success, but neither does him being a relative unknown to most of us mean he'll be a failure.

Most teams that come up generally stay up now with managers without Prem experience

Like I have said before, if Prem experience was the only guide you would not see any new managers or players, they have to come from somewhere so I don't subscribe to the idea that its the be all and end all.
