If they had proper money they would never have sold Torres.
Their net spend was 35m in the last transfer window. Not exactly Emirates Marketing Project or Chelsea.
 
Capello, AVB, Van Gaal and Benitez are all free. They won't go after Martinez when they have to pay no compensation for 4 much more qualified managers.
 
Shame he has gone, would have been good to see the same nonsense going next year but I don't think it makes much difference. Whoever comes in has alot of work to do, provided everybody else keeps progressing even at a minimal rate then Liverpool would need a real stand out season to break back into the top 4.
 
Shame he wasn't given longer to take them further down the table, buying Livermore and Jenas off us for ?ú30m in the process.

There is not a chance in hell Klopp is leaving Borussia Dortmund for Liverpool. He laughed off the suggestion of going to Chelsea, has just won the double, loves it there, will want to have a proper go at the CL this time and won't want to join the joke and possibly the only job in the world worse than the England one.
