What's the point in U21s promotion and relegation, when surely they are a different cohort competing every year? It's weird you have the consequences of the previous intake's successes or failures

His concern is meant to be a route to the first team. Bizarrely, I think that the U21s getting relegated may make it easier to promote the U17s and U18s to the U21s team next season and speed his progress. Hopefully, our next DoF is more interested in the academy than Paratici was.

West Ham beat (spanked) them in the FA Youth Cup final. The current West Ham under 18 crop is pretty special unfortunately.

Out group are younger than the West Ham group (I’m told)
The premier league cup seems to be a new thing (I’d never heard of it before this season). But the top sides are all in the premier league cup too

West Ham didn’t make it out of the group going out level on points to Fulham who have finished second in the league south, so a good team
We beat city in the knock outs away so a good benchmark for tomorrows game
