Neither are good enough . Richo is just a spoiler who likes falling over. Solanke is a hardworking journeyman, a squad player. If richarlison could stay fit him and solanke could be interesting. Although maybe too similar. Both can hold the ball up but poach.
Those kind of deals only happen in supporters minds. Never going to happen.I wonder if we might offer Richy in exchange for Ndiaye
"It's another 0-0 draw for Spurs, but Solanke was fantastic holding up the ball"I think Sokanke is a very useful player who might not hit 20 goals but will hold the ball up and be creative.
1-0 to Spurs, Solanke with the assist."It's another 0-0 draw for Spurs, but Solanke was fantastic holding up the ball"

Why would any of those clubs pay those fees?

Solanke is a good player. Has a good all round game. He’s no Harry Kane but we won’t have another Harry Kane at Spurs in our lifetimes.Neither are good enough . Richo is just a spoiler who likes falling over. Solanke is a hardworking journeyman, a squad player.
I don’t think he is slow at all. He didn’t shoot from outside the box because our style of play didn’t see us create those sorts of opportunities for our number 9.Solanke is slow and predictable. He's never had a shot from outside the box. We need much better quality to challenge for top four & CL.
He is hardly slow and if our striker is picking the ball up in area’s that he needs to shoot from long range then he is not in the correct position.Solanke is slow and predictable. He's never had a shot from outside the box. We need much better quality to challenge for top four & CL.
You think he's better than Haaland? Wow!!Solanke is a good player. Has a good all round game. He’s no Harry Kane but we won’t have another Harry Kane at Spurs in our lifetimes.
Isak, Gyokeres, Watkins and perhaps Sesko are better than him but I can’t think of any other CFs in the PL who are better than him.
If we do have the money for another Centre forward (I don’t think we do) then Porto’s Samu Aghehowa would be my choice. He is only 21 and still very raw but has the attributes to do well in the PL. suspect he’d cost close to £60m though.
I thought Solanke was our best player in the 1st half of last season (just ahead of Kulu) and when he got injured our attacking play fell off a cliff as we had no focal point. He scored a decent amount of goals despite having very little created for him. Admittedly when he returned after his injury he looked sluggish and wasn't as effective.
Think we'll look very different in attack this season. May be focusing more on counter attacks and turnovers at first (going by preseason and the injury to Maddison probably setting us back).I thought Solanke was our best player in the 1st half of last season (just ahead of Kulu) and when he got injured our attacking play fell off a cliff as we had no focal point.
